mine, but in your particular order:
tea – orange pekoe, brewed in a big pot and left to burn a little bit. it’s a gorgeous shade of warm red.
rainy days – specifically the sound of the rain on the roof. i’m hoping my next apartment will be on the top floor, specifically for this reason. it’s not a stipulation, just a big “what if”
tattoos – anchors. perhaps this summer??
museums – i loved the louvre, but i’ve always been partial to the renaissance, and the lore behind dusty old things. i loved knowing i was sharing air with a masterpiece that shared air was da vinci.
beaches – weekapaug, when the waves are smashing the rocks because there is a hurricane off the coast.
public radio – a prairie home companion. there is something about garrison keillor’s voice that immediately returns me to my childhood. i could be sitting and debating politics with the most grown up person in the room (which will obviously never be me, unless aaron is the only other person in the room) and suddenly, i become an 8-year-old.
london – LONDON. westminster abbey, for the same reason that i loved the louvre, and because dayton and i spent the whole day walking there, and the whole time he was picturing the cover of a beatles’ album, not a giant church.
carry on.
